She wasn't so confident in the water but practically learnt how to ballance and ride a bike after day 4. Best of all their was a learn to cycle and learn to swim lessons for my youngest. My 7 year old enjoyed the kids club tent which was filled with crafts and game activities. He also loved the high wire and climbing tower run by pgl too (the activities were included in the holiday package). I hardly saw my eldest, he made friends with other children at the base kids club straight away. The kids had a great time and the campsite had activities for all of them. Just back from a two week holiday here with my 3 children aged 3, 7 and 13. Especially when our last UK family excursion was a similar price, go figure. The scenery of the Dordogne is incredible and as long as the cheap flights continue to Bergerac, we will be returning again without hesitation. Evening entertainment was organised in a large room near the bar for the kids including a disco and karaoke whilst on some nights, singers performed in the bar. We opted for a brand new mobile home this time called the Aspect which had modern interior, air con, a dishwasher, 3 bedrooms (biggest room had a queen bed), covered decking (with BBQ), posh loungers and movable sofas that was great when the kids wanted to play indoors. They were only 2 euros from the park supermarket. Surprisingly few bugs bothered us, but we did use lemon candles which could be the reason why. The rolling hills and tall forests provided great views for our alfresco dining on the large decked area of the mobile home. We decided to just have two meal nights at the restaurant and buy the rest of our food at St Avit’s on park supermarket which was reasonably priced. There is a very nice restaurant on the park too that is a bit pricey but as it is renowned for it’s quality by the locals, it’s understandable after relishing the cuisine. Mini golf, rock climbing, large crazy river, separate toddler pool (stunning), zip wire, driving range…need I say more? The parc also has a bar overlooking the pool, playground and arcade which is ideal for keeping an eye on the kids whilst having a few refreshing glasses of wine, or beers as the hubby tends to opt for. The activities on park are second to none. My youngest child enjoyed Macs fun station the most, Pirate themed activities will always win hands down, whilst my eldest enjoyed the Base club that was a little less erratic and more chilled with the likes of pizza parties, man hunt and volleyball. There is an abundance of children’s clubs run by Eurocamp, I counted 9 this time around catering for 2 to 16 year olds. This is our second excursion to this holiday park, why? The park is set in gorgeous countryside in the stunning hills of Dordogne, offering tons of activities and home from home accommodation.
